Philosophy and approach

Clay is an amazing and adaptive material. Creativity is something that can be developed in anyone and clay allows students to develop their creative skills in a non threatening and fun way. Working with clay has been shown to relieve stress and focus attention, no one denies the meditative qualities of the potter’s wheel. Geraldine offers sessions to suit all people and most budgets from short taster sessions to weekly classes for all levels. Students will be assured expert guidance in throwing and all aspects of hand building as well as sculptural techniques. Whether you are a complete beginner or someone wishing to improve and extend your skills you will be assured a warm welcome in her small but well equipped studio.
